Before starting this project we did a lot of research and found some very helpful and environmentally friendly products.  Although I don't want to suggest that you need to buy a long list of items before starting your waste diet, I found some items that have really helped our project.  We've started composting as much as we can and found a company that makes biodegradable compost bags, "Biobag".  The same company also makes biodegradable cat litter bags and dog bags.  For grocery shopping I rounded up as many cloth bags as we already had (and we have many of them from trade shows) and supplemented with a few reusable mesh bags for produce, see "Reusablebags".  "Recycline" is a good source for recyclable toothbrushes and razors.  "Wrap N Mat" makes reusable sandwich bags.  For Christmas, I gave everyone their own resuable SIGG water bottle.
